Theme 2: Achieving healthy environments through FM
There is a growing awareness of the psychological, physiological and physical impact of workplaces and other internal environments. Work stress, sick building syndrome and building transmitted diseases are just some of the areas of concern. Facilities management and the integration of support services, is known to have a significant impact in controlling these malign and often insipid phenomenon. This topic will consider our state-of-knowledge in this area.
