The conference venue is the Edinburgh Conference Centre, on the Riccarton site of Heriot Watt University. The James Watt Centre 1 will be used for the conference and is a dedicated conference facility offering a choice of conference, meeting and reception rooms.
The main space is a purpose-built auditorium with tiered seating for up to 600 delegates. It has a fully equipped projection control room and staging.
The centre offers 3 flat-floored multi-purpose meeting rooms, two with removable walls, making them suitable for exhibition space or additional break-out rooms. Each room may also be sub-divided.
In addition, James Watt Centre 1 has a spacious reception area and walkway, offering 48 wall-mounted poster boards and plenty of naturally-lit space for registration and relaxation.
