The friendly face of fieldwork recruitment
Our core fieldwork team is based between Wales and Sussex and we have a national network of field agents embedded in their rural communities – from the Scottish Highlands to the Cornish coast
This is FieldMouse
A short film about the story of FieldMouse, as told by co-founders Sarah Morris & Paul Flatters to Barry Clark of Related Stories on a recent farm day in West Sussex.
MEET THE TEAM
Co-founder and Managing Director
Sarah has worked in business development for 25 years, mostly within consumer insight and trends forecasting. When she moved from London to mid Wales in 2013, Sarah realised that rural opinions were being routinely excluded from market, social and political research – a hunch confirmed by the Brexit referendum. However it was a chat in the pub with long-time colleague Paul Flatters about this blatant blind spot in the research industry that created the idea that launched FieldMouse.
Jo has worked with Sarah and Paul in their previous professional lives for over 20 years. The friendliest Finance Director you’ll ever meet, Jo is also responsible for the speedy payment of research incentives to our wonderful participants.
Senior Fieldwork Manager
Raedene has been with FieldMouse since 2019. Originally from Liverpool and with a background in retail and marketing, Raedene leads on all recruitment in Wales. A key member of our Team Wrexham and from a large family, with 4 kids herself, Raedene is the living embodiment of a team player!
Jon has been with FieldMouse since the start of 2023. With a background in Operations and Client Support Jon loves an organised spreadsheet! Jon is a bit of a petrol head, from cars, bikes to trucks if it has an engine Jon will be interested!
Leaving behind a background in the education sector, Sam joined the FieldMouse team in July 2023. A qualified bench joiner and mum of 2 living in the Peak District, Sam has a passion for the countryside and loves nothing more than getting out on a clay ground.
Co-founder and Chairman
Paul is a qualitative research practitioner. Over the last thirty years, he has worked with many fieldwork agencies and is pretty sure he has visited every viewing facility in the UK. Paul has an unrivalled understanding of what researchers need from a fieldwork agency and he ensures this is what FieldMouse delivers. A Yorkshireman living in London, Paul is also CEO of Trajectory Partnership. He is a regular media commentator and a leading expert in social trends forecasting.
Caitlin has been part of the FieldMouse team since March 2022. Caitlin is an alumni of Harper Adams University College and a Rural Chartered Surveyor. Originally from Perthshire in Scotland she now lives with her husband on their beef and arable farm in the South Downs National Park.
Rashelle joined FieldMouse in 2022 having previously run her own catering business. With a fearless approach to speaking to strangers, Rashelle often leads on projects involving both street and B2B recruitment. She balances this pressure with her love of travel - when Rashelle sets her OOO she makes it count!
Nicole joined the team in June 2023. Originally from Cheshire, she now lives with her family in North Wales. She has previously worked in the children’s charity sector as a co-ordinator and volunteer manager. She also ran her own business as a hypnobirthing teacher. A mum of two, she loves animals and enjoys horse riding in her free time.
Claire has worked with FieldMouse since 2018. She has a background in publishing and marketing and communications but also handles fieldwork recruitment, mainly covering South Wales and the South West.
